If you’re looking for a fun way to promote teamwork, morale, and knowledge at your company, educational institution, or organization, you’ve come to the right place. At True North Team Building, LLC, we organize activities and events to bring employees together to learn and work together.
Here’s a sample of the kind of events and activities we organize, and how they can help your business or organization:
Escape Rooms
We offer dozens of team building activities, but our Office Escape remains quite popular. The goal of this team building activity is to promote teams working together and innovative thinking; our Office Escape does this by encouraging each group to combine their individual skill-sets into achieving a common goal: finding their way out of the room through collaborative problem-solving. The True North Office Escape is completely portable and we can run up to 15 rooms simultaneously. It’s not easy to escape. We host a robust debrief afterwards.
Charitable Events
Nothing builds morale quite like community service. Whether it’s packing backpacks of school supplies for underprivileged children or building and painting hand-crafted Adirondack Chairs to donate to local community centers. Large groups (several hundred for some activities) can work together to give back in their communities. Participants gain the satisfaction of working together while doing something rewarding for their community; plus this type of event makes for a great networking event.
Trivia Nights
No matter what the nature of business or organization is, everyone needs a break from work every once in a while. We offer more than 20 events we classify as “Play,” where your group can improve collaborative skills and relieve stress at the same time. One of the most popular of these is our Pub-Quiz/Trivia Night. During this competition, teams play against each other to answer questions. The relaxed atmosphere makes this a great way for people to get to know each other better, all while indulging their competitive side. (Prizes are optional).
Professional Development Workshops
We also present workshops where employees can learn useful skills that can benefit themselves and the company they work for. Our Everything DiSC® workshops and assessments help to teach valuable skills about working with a variety of styles to employees of every level, from entry-level to senior management. The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team workshop, focuses on leadership skills with an emphasis on vulnerability-based trust.
This is just a small overview of some of the events we organize at True North Team Building. The key to any successful event or activity is planning, so most of what we do happens before we get onsite. Planning is key to a successful event.
